Despite its negative effects, especially on the eyes, smartphone addiction is not easy to quit. The following measures allow me to use my smartphone as usual, as a major source of news and information, but with much less strain on my eyes. Long exposure to the high-energy blue light screws up your body clock and strains your eyes. Many of the videos on YouTube, also considered social media, can be enjoyed with your eyes closed or while watching something else. I also hope that by the time you get old, your eyes will still be healthy enough to use the smartphones of the future.
